Present Perfect Tense


》Identification (Pehchan):

The end of an Urdu or Hindi sentence contains:
1) Chuka hai e.g.
Woh cricket khel chuka hai. (Singular+Male)

2) Chuki hai e.g.
Woh cricket khel chuki hai. (Singular+Female)

3) Chuke hain e.g.
Ali aur Akbar cricket khel chuke hain. (Plural)

4) Chuka hun e.g.
Main cricket khel chuka hun. (Singular)


》Form of Verb (Fel ki Surat):

》Helping Verb(H.V.) (Imdaadi Fel):


Have -> I, We, You, They+Plural Noun

Has -> He, She, It + Singular Noun

》Formula:

Simple Sentence:

In English:
Subject+H.V.+V-III+Object+.
He has Played Football.

In Urdu/Hindi:
Subject+Object+Verb+H.V.+.
Woh Football khel chuka hai.

More examples:
He has watched T.V. (Woh T.V. Dekh chuka hai.)

They have read books. (Woh kitabein parh chuke hain.)

The bird has flown in the air. (Parindah hawa mein ur chuka hai.)

Negative Sentences:

In English:
Subject+H.V.+Not+V-III+Object+.
They have not cooked food.

In Urdu/Hindi:
Subject+Object+Nahi+Verb+H.V.+.
Woh khana nahi paka chuke hain.

More examples:
He has not driven a car. (Woh car nahi chala chuka hai.)

She has not gone to college. (Woh College nahi ja chuki hai.)

Aslam and Akbar have not operated computer. (Aslam aur Akbar computer nahi chala chuke hain.)

He has not written a letter. (Woh aik khat nahi likh chuka hai.)


Interrogative Sentences
(Question Sentences):

In English:
Helping Verb+Subject+V-III+Object+?
Have they cooked food?

In Urdu/Hindi:
Kiya+Subject+Object+Verb+H.V.+?
Kiya Woh khana paka chuke hain?

More examples:
Has he driven a car? ( Kiya woh car chala chuka hai?)

Has she gone to college? (Kiya Woh College ja chuki hai?)

Have Aslam and Akbar operated computer? ( Kiya Aslam aur Akbar computer chala chuke hain?)

Has he written a letter? ( Kiya Woh aik khat likh chuka hai?)

Interrogative Negative Sentences:

In English:

Have they not cooked food?

In Urdu/Hindi:
Kiya+Sub+Object+nahi+Verb+H.V.+?
Kiya Woh khana nahi paka chuke hain?
